Our Values

  • Christ centeredness – We believe at Exodus that Christ is the source of everything we are, He created us, he owns us, He gifted us with talents, He authors our story, and every blessing that we receive comes from him. Christ is the source for our daily righteousness. He is our motivation for everything we think, say, and do. Because we want Christ to be known, honored, worshipped and obeyed, we submit every other attainable goal to him. We have hope in the here and now, because Christ has promised his presence and grace until we go home.
  • Love – We believe at Exodus that Love makes us human, connecting us deeply and reminding us of our shared humanity. Through love, we find compassion for others, allowing us to put ourselves in their shoes and offer a helping hand when they need it most. Love can unite people and heal the wounds that divide us in a world filled with chaos and division.
  • Practical Care – As Exodus, we believe in living out Christian values in our daily life through acts of charity, compassion, service and love. Instead of only professing faith, we focus on actively making the world a better place by serving others just as Jesus served those around him.
  • Community Service – For Exodus, Community service is and will continue to be an integral part of civic engagement. It is a platform for giving back to society, shaping our own character, and vastly improving the community we live in. Community service, in essence, is work that benefits our communities and villages, often done without compensation. We believe that Community Service Changes Lives and not just changing other people’s lives but also transforming our own. Community acts like a mirror, showing us parts of ourselves we might not have seen otherwise — like our strength in tough times or our knack for making someone smile. We believe that doing good in our community can lift our spirits higher than a kite on a windy day. When we take time to lend a hand, whether it’s big or small, it fills us with a sense of purpose and joy. That’s something that money can’t buy. Our community service grows compassion and helping our community is like planting seeds of self-worth. Each good deed tells us we can make a difference and adds to our value. Every community task teaches us something new — about the world, its people, and ourselves. You’re contributing to a cause and taking free life lessons that no textbook can provide. Our main thrust for community Service is to help meet Needs for vulnerable People.
  • Prayer – We believe at Exodus that Prayer is a way for us to surrender our lives to God and trust that He will lead us down the path He has planned for us. When we take the time to pray, we are opening a dialogue with our Creator, hear from Him and understand His heart for us and through prayer, we can discern the will of God for our lives.
  • Integrity – As a Christian Organization, we are called to be complete, and Integrity is an essential value that encompasses honesty, consistency, and moral uprightness. It is the quality of being true to our principles, values, and beliefs, regardless of external pressures or temptations.
  • Family and Togetherness – At Exodus, we believe in providing a natural environment for the development of children and the well-being of the family’s members. We value relationships between the family members in parents, children, siblings, and extended relatives. We also see a family socially and culturally, to include individuals who are not necessarily related by blood or law but are bound by emotional ties, care, and support. This can include stepfamilies, godparents, close friends, and others who play a significant role in an individual’s life. Togetherness or being a family is important for emotional support and a source of unconditional love. A healthy family with good parenting is associated with better emotional regulation, self-confidence, mental health, social competence, and resilience. Families can be a source of support in good times and in bad and can help shape an individual’s identity and belonging from a young age. Families play a central role in socializing children and teaching social norms, cultural differences, manners, prosocial behavior, and beliefs.

In the spirit of family, we can provide essential care and support for others during illness, recovery and managing health challenges. We also believe that families provide material support such as food, clothing, and shelter. This economic support contributes to a sense of security and stability from childhood through older adulthood.
